We tend to admire birds for their ability to fly, coveting their lightness of being. But perhaps in doing so we eclipse all other characteristics of beauty they may possess. There must be something to be said about the allure of solitude, the side of life beyond the bush. But rare is it that we’re able to see through the thicket, and look upon the serenity of what it means to be stationary.
